This article explains the process manager in DealCentre AI.

  Process manager 

You can use process manager to monitor the status of long-running background operations in a deal. The process manager allows you to quickly track the supported bulk operations, review processing details, and view progress in one place.

Process manager displays only the operations started by the current user in the current deal.

Process manager supports the following operations:

• Bulk downloads larger than 1GB
• Bulk redaction
• Extract archive 
• Bulk permission updates

How to monitor any bulk process in process manager

Process manager appears in the left navigation panel only if you have started a supported background operation - bulk download larger than 1GB, bulk redaction, archive extraction or bulk permission update.

1. Click the DealCentre AI icon in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list.
2. Select the deal that you want.
3. Start a supported background operation - bulk download larger than 1GB, bulk redaction, archive extraction or bulk permission update.
4. Click Process Manager in the left navigation panel.
5. Select the process you want to monitor.
6. Review the information in the panel. Depending on the process type and the process stage, the panel displays:
   • Process status
   • Progress
   • Start time
   • Completion summary
   • File-level status, where applicable

The process manager window displays all active and completed processes for the current deal initiated by the current user. 

View the status of any bulk process

Each process displays its current progress. The process manager displays one of the following statuses.

Some operations also display progress as completed items out of the total number of items.

For example:

• 15/27
• 27/27

How to monitor a bulk redaction process

When you select a bulk redaction process, the process manager panel displays the documents included and the processing status of each document.

1. Click the DealCentre AI icon in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list.
2. Select the deal that you want.
3. Start a Bulk Redaction process. 
4. Click Process Manager in the left navigation panel to review the status of each file.

The following statuses may appear.

Note: During processing, the progress indicator updates as documents are completed. For example, 0/27 changes to 27/27 when all documents have been processed. If document has not started processing, you can select X icon in the Actions column to stop processing it.

How to monitor an archive extraction process

When you select an extract archive process, the process manager panel displays the archive name, processing status, and the time when processing started.

 While the archive is being extracted, the status shows that extraction is in progress.

After extraction completes, the details panel displays the extracted archive information and provides an Open Folder button.

1. Click the DealCentre AI icon in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list.
2. Select the deal that you want.
3. Start an Extract Archive process.
4. Click Process Manager in the left navigation panel to review the archive name and processing status.
5. (Optional.) Click the completed Extract Archive process and click Open Folder to view the extracted files.

How to monitor a grant permissions process

When you select a grant permissions process, the process manager panel displays the number of permissions granted and the time when the process started.

1. Click the DealCentre AI icon in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list.
2. Select the deal that you want.
3. Grant Permissions to sellers or deal team members and buyers in bulk.
4. Click Process Manager in the left navigation panel to review the number or permissions granted.
