Tracking and managing translations | DealCentre AI

Applies to: Deal Administrators and Sellers (when applicable)

This article explains how to find translated documents, check translation status, and manage translated output in deals.

Prerequisites:

  • Your administrator has enabled Link AI Translation in Settings.
  • Your user group has access to translation features.

Icons_Approved.svg How to show or hide translated columns

  1. Click the DealCentre AI icon DCAI product icon.png in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list.
  2. Select the deal you want.
  3. Navigate to the required documents grid:
    • If you are in the Marketing area, click the Internal Documents tab.
    • If you are in the Preparation area, click the Documents tab.
    • If you are in the Diligence area, click the Documents tab.
  4. From the documents grid, click Columns on the right side of the screen.
  5. Find Translated.
  6. Check or clear the box.
    1. When checked, the column appears in the documents grid.
    2. When cleared, the column is removed from the documents grid.

  1. Click the DealCentre AI icon DCAI product icon.png in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list.
  2. Select the deal you want.
  3. Navigate to the required documents grid:
    • If you are in the Marketing area, click the Internal Documents tab.
    • If you are in the Preparation area, click the Documents tab.
    • If you are in the Diligence area, click the Documents tab.
  4. Select the filter icon on the Translated column header. The translated filter appears.
  5. Check the box next to each status you want to include.
  6. (Optional.) To select all statuses, check Select All.
  7. Select Apply. The grid updates to show documents that match the selected items.

Note: The translated filter is available to administrators, sellers. It is hidden for buyers.

  1. Click the DealCentre AI icon DCAI product icon.png in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list.
  2. Select the deal you want.
  3. Navigate to the required documents grid:
    • If you are in the Marketing area, click the Internal Documents tab.
    • If you are in the Preparation area, click the Documents tab.
    • If you are in the Diligence area, click the Documents tab.
  4. From the Translated column header, click the three dots menu.
  5. Select Sort Ascending or Sort Descending.
  6. To clear the sort, click Clear Sort.

  1. Click the DealCentre AI icon DCAI product icon.png in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list.
  2. Select the deal you want.
  3. Navigate to the required documents grid:
    • If you are in the Marketing area, click the Internal Documents tab.
    • If you are in the Preparation area, click the Documents tab.
  4. Click the Translated filter on the left side of the screen. The Translated documents grid is displayed.
  5. Click Export to Excel.

Note: The Export to Excel button is enabled if there is at least one translated document available in the Translated documents grid. The export includes all visible columns and matches your current filters.

In the filtered view:

  • You can use the Translated column to see translation status.
  • You can use the Language column to see the detected language.

Status values:

  1. Pending Translation - The document is in the translation queue.
  2. Translating - The document is being translated.
  3. Translated - The document translation is successful.
  4. Translation failed - The document translation did not complete.

  • Translated documents are saved as new PDF files.
  • The original documents are not changed.
  • Translated files follow the naming and watermark settings selected at the time of translation.
