Understanding Page Calculations in Intralinks

  • Updated

How We Define Pages

To provide consistent usage tracking across different file types, Intralinks converts file sizes into a standardized page count. This approach creates a fair and predictable way to measure platform usage, regardless of the document formats you work with.

Current Conversion Rates

As of 01 July 2025, our platform uses the following conversion rates to calculate page counts:

PDF Files 1 printable page = 1 page
Word Documents 7.5 KB = 1 page
Excel Spreadsheets 7.5 KB = 1 page
Text Files 7.5 KB = 1 page
Compressed Files 7.5 KB = 1 page
Unknown Files 7.5 KB = 1 page
Other File Types 50 KB = 1 page

Note: All calculations use 1,000 bytes = 1 KB

Our Commitment to Transparency

We believe in clear, predictable pricing. The conversion rates shown above reflect our current methodology for calculating page counts across the platform.

As technology evolves and platform capabilities expand, we may occasionally update these conversion rates to better reflect actual platform usage patterns. Should we make changes, we are committed to communicating them clearly through your account team and our support documentation.

Our goal is simple: provide you with fair, consistent usage calculations that align with the value you receive from the platform. If you have questions about how page counts are calculated for your specific use case, our support team is always ready to help.
