Here are some troubleshooting tips for our web application:

    1. Ensure Adobe Reader DC is Installed and Configured

    • Download Adobe Reader DC from Adobe's official site.
    • Set Adobe Reader DC as your default PDF viewer:
      • Windows:
        • Open Control Panel > Default Programs > Associate a file type or protocol with a program.
        • Locate .pdf and set Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as the default.
      • macOS:
        • Select a PDF file, press Command + I, and choose Adobe Acrobat Reader DC under Open with.
        • Click Change All to apply the setting to all PDFs.

    2. Disable Your Browser's PDF Reader

    • Microsoft Edge:
      • Type edge://settings/content/pdfDocuments in the address bar and press Enter.
      • Enable Always download PDF files.
    • Google Chrome:
      • Type chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments in the address bar and press Enter.
      • Select Download PDFs.
    • Firefox:
      • Type about:preferences in the address bar and press Enter.
      • Under Files and Applications, set Portable Document Format (PDF) to Use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

    3. Check for IRM Protection

    • If the PDF is IRM-protected, ensure you are using Adobe Reader DC and that cookies are enabled in your browser. For Windows:
      • Open Internet Options from the Start menu.
      • Under the Privacy tab, click Advanced and set cookies to Accept.

How do I VIEW the document if I am active on the page instead of downloading it?

    Hello Cheryl,

You can right click on the document and choose either "Preview" or "View Document" from the fly-out menu. "Preview" will open a window within your current browser's window and display the document. "View Document" will open a separate tab on your browser and display the document.
