Hide publishers in VDR
It would be helpful if we could hide our publishers from buyers. We generally assign the publisher role to internal team members. But since they're visible to buyers, there's always the possibility that a buyer could contact a publisher by email. We can't have that.
Thanks

Thank you for posting this idea. We have submitted your product feedback to the appropriate product team for review.
Dave K. I thought you could already do this, within the Settings > Management section - set "Hide Names of People Who Added and Modified Documents within the Exchange from Reviewers" to ON. That should obscure all the names of your publishers. Or are you seeing this info appear elsewhere?
Those assigned the "publisher" role still can be seen in the Users list in the Users and Groups tab by reviewers and previewers. The logic behind this is that reviewers and previewers could reach out to the publisher to ask questions. The work-around for this is to create a group of reviewers and give the group the special group permission to upload documents to a specific folder(s). The CSM assigned to the account can walk the manager of the VDR through this setup and process. The user names would not be seen by other reviewers and previewers because the reviewers with the special group permissions are not visible to other reviewers.
Thanks for the feedback.
Kevin - I actually wasn't even considering the Hide Names... setting. But you're right in that regard.
My main concern is for the Users/Groups list. A role like Hidden Publisher, or even a checkbox to designate certain Publishers as hidden, would be great.
