Use these tables to determine the recommended best practices for information stored in, and functions performed on, your Intralinks VDRPro VDRs. These are the recommended performance guidelines for best performance. You can exceed these limits (except where noted) but you may find that Intralinks VDRPro’s responsiveness is affected if you do.
Limits are generally not dependent on one another. If you do not exceed one limit, it does not mean that you can increase another limit. For example, if you only have 10,000 documents, you cannot have more than the recommended number of groups.
These limits apply to the Intralinks VDRPro product. Other limits may apply to other Intralinks products.
VDRs

Documents

| File size limit recommended | 25GB for VDRs hosted in the US, Germany, and Australia 15GB otherwise | If deleted and previous versions of documents are enabled, they are included in the total amount and size of documents. |
File size for ZIP file uploads when automatic unzip is enabled
| 1GB for individual files 3GB for total size of all ZIP files | Files larger than 1GB will be uploaded as ZIP files and will not be extracted. If the total size of all ZIP files being uploaded is greater than 3GB the files will not be extracted. |

Folders

Users

| Number of users in a group | 2,500 | When multiple users are added to multiple groups, this may cause performance issues for access reports even though the number of users is within the recommended limits. |
Groups
