The following enhancement has been made for DealCentre AI:
Advisory and Corporate Development (CorpDev) Experience
Document viewer enhancement - View additional file types
The document viewer now allows viewing more file types directly in the platform and users no longer need to download them to review.
Newly supported file types include:
- Presentations: POTX, POTM, PPSM, ODP
- Spreadsheets: ODS
- Text documents: ODT, RTF, MD
- Publications: PUB, XPS
- Images: TIFF, TIF, EMF
- Videos: MP4, MOV
MP4 and MOV files play in the viewer with Play and Pause, a progress bar with thumbnail preview on hover, Volume, Zoom in, and Zoom out, and Full screen. Select Esc to exit full screen. Each control shows a tooltip on hover.
This update removes the need to download these files and document activity remains visible to deal administrators.

Document request enhancements
The Document Requests tab in the Preparation area is now enhanced with a new design, direct access for assignees, direct document upload, improved collaboration, and additional columns
The following enhancements were introduced for document requests:
- Redesigned interface - The panel on the right side of the screen for each document request now includes:
- Overview tab - shows the Details, Reviewers, Assignees and Link AI Review.
- Documents tab - shows the documents associated with the document requests and the document uploaded location
- Collaboration tab - shows the communication between deal team administrators, third party users and document request assignees.
- Additional Columns - The Document Requests grid now includes four new columns.
| Column name | Description |
| Assignee | Shows all users assigned to the document request |
| Reviewers | Shows all users assigned to review the document request |
| Documents | Includes a clickable link to the Documents tab for the document request. After clicking, you can see the list of uploaded files. |
| Collaboration | Includes the clickable link to the Collaboration tab for the document request. After clicking, you can see the comments. |
- Summary status tile filtering: The summary and status tiles at the top of the screen in the Document Requests tab are now clickable and allow to filter the requests grid. Only one tile can be active at a time when filtering the grid. This update enables all document request users to quickly filter the data with a single click.
Redaction - Redact specific pages
Redaction in bulk or manual redaction can now be applied to specific pages using the Redact only specified pages option. When you redact and enter the pages to redact, the markup is applied only to those pages. The markup on all other pages is ignored.
This update removes the need to manually delete markups from irrelevant pages for forms with a fixed page format, such as employee and tax forms.
Redaction - Expanded language support
Redaction now supports 17 languages. Eight languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Greek, were already supported. Nine additional languages include Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Korean, Dutch, Turkish, Polish, Hebrew, and Arabic.
Link AI Redaction detects and processes text in these languages automatically. Hebrew and Arabic work on text documents only. Scanned PDFs are not supported for Hebrew and Arabic.
This update removes the need to redact the documents in these languages manually outside the platform.
Batch document translation
The Translate as New feature for PDF files now supports batches of up to 10 documents. Each translation is saved as a new PDF file. However, the translation flow stays the same.
This update lets you translate twice as many documents in a single batch.
Copy protection for protected documents
Users can no longer copy content from protected documents in the following areas:
- In the document viewer, the copy action and text selection are disabled.
- In the Translation modal, the copy button is disabled.
- Keyboard shortcuts are blocked wherever protected content is displayed.
This applies to all buyers with protected document view access. It applies whether users open a protected document from the deal or from a downloaded link, because protected documents open only in the Viewer.
This update prevents users from copying protected content from the document viewer.
Note: Inline translation still works on protected documents, so that users can still read the content in their selected language.
Ask Link - Chat with an Excel
Ask Link now also supports chat with Excel files. Users can ask questions about an Excel file and get answers based on its content.
When users select the Chat only with this file option, Ask Link uses only the open Excel file to answer questions. Each answer identifies the source sheet and links to it so users can verify the information.
Consistent Link AI disclaimers
Link-generated and Link-suggested content now includes consistent guidance about accuracy.
This update reminds you to review information for accuracy before relying on it or taking action.
Document viewer enhancement - Fit to preference
The document viewer now retains your Fit to setting. When you select Fit to width option in the viewer toolbar, the viewer saves it as your personal preference and applies it to every document that you access. This applies across deals, sessions, and documents.
The toolbar always shows the active setting. If you haven't saved a preference, documents open with Fit to page setting.
This update removes the need to reset the zoom level on each document during high-volume review and diligence work.
Protected file enhancements
When you apply protection to a mixed selection of file types in bulk, the supported file types are protected as per your selection. Unsupported file types such as ZIP files, video files, and XML files now get the Download permission. This way deal users can access the content.
If you try to apply protection to an unsupported file, a message informs you that the file type is not supported. You also receive an email that summarizes the number of affected files by extension type. For example, 3 ZIP files and 1 video file instead of listing each file.
This update removes the need to find and re-permission unsupported files manually.
New buyer groups - Default Link access
Ask Link is now enabled by default for all new buyer groups in DealCentre AI. Buyers get full Link AI access including Ask Link as soon as their group is created.
Existing buyer groups retain their current Link AI settings. You can view messages informing you that Ask Link is included by default on the Link AI Settings page, the Go Live area, the Users and Groups page, including the Add Group in Users and Groups.
This update removes the manual Ask Link activation step for deal administrators on every buyer group.
Corporate Development (CorpDev) Acquisition Experience
Analytics - Deal team dashboard
DCAI CorpDev acquisition deals now include a Deal Team Dashboard in the Analytics tab for deal administrators.
The dashboard shows the review activity of the deal team and deal team groups. It includes widgets such as the Deal Team Group Ranking Chart, Deal Team Ranking Table, Document Accesses Over Time, Top Documents Chart and Top Users Table.
This update helps deal administrators track review progress for their team and subject matter experts. Thus, they can spot issues or bottlenecks early and keep everyone on track.
Buy-side diligence tracker: Collaboration tab
Every diligence item in the buy-side Diligence Tracker now has a Collaboration tab. This tab consists of private Internal thread separate from the shared Target thread.
Only the buy-side deal team including the deal administrators and the delegated members can see the Internal thread. The thread is available as soon as a diligence item is created.
Deal team members can post messages, reply with quoted context, forward Target messages into the Internal thread, edit their own messages, and copy messages as plain text.
The Target thread is shared between the deal team and target team. Target team users never see the internal messages and are not notified when a message is forwarded. @mentions work for same-side users only.
This update gives buy-side deal teams a place to discuss each request inside the diligence item.
