Summary of enhancements and new functionality

September 9, 2026

The following enhancements have been made for DealCentre AI:

Advisory and Corporate Development (CorpDev) Experience

Q&A enhancements

The following enhancements were introduced for Q&A:

  • SME Delegation - The assigned subject matter experts (SMEs) can now reassign questions to other SMEs directly without involving Q&A administrators. Delegated SMEs receive the same permissions as assigned SMEs. They can propose, edit, and submit responses. Delegated SMEs can delegate it further if required. SMEs cannot remove themselves or their own group from a question.

Q&A administrators must enable it from the Advanced Settings in the Configurations tab for Q&A.  All the delegation activity is recorded in Action History for the question.

  • Delegated To column - A new column Delegated To is now available in the Questions grid for Q&A in the Diligence area. The column shows to whom the question is currently delegated.

This update ensures delegation can be viewed in a glance instead of checking the Action History for the question.

  • Confirmation before closing question - A confirmation prompt now appears before closing a question.

This update prevents accidental closure of questions that still need follow-up.

  • Follow up status tile - A new Follow up status tile in the Questions grid in Q&A tab displays the count of questions with pending follow-ups. This is available for all deal users.

Inherit permissions when moving content

The moved content in Preparation area now inherits the destination folder's permissions instead of resetting to No Access. The seller and deal team groups automatically maintain access without manual reassignment of permissions after moving content.

Push partial folders to diligence in one click

The partially shared root folders with buyers, and all their contents, can now be pushed to diligence in one click. All the items inside the folder inherit the folder's permissions.

This update removes the need to open the folders and select items individually.

Sort documents by Index number

The Internal Documents grid in the Marketing area and the Documents grid in the Preparation and Diligence areas can now be sorted using the Index number in ascending or descending order. The sorting is supported for grids with up to 50,000 documents only.

Document action menu redesign

The document Actions three-dot menu is now grouped by category, labeled with icons, and ordered by priority. The three-dot Actions menu in the Internal Documents tab in the Marketing area and the Documents tab in the Preparation and Diligence areas have the same structure.

This update reduces the action scanning time for deal users and improves discoverability.

Redaction - Save as new documents

Redacted copies of the original documents can now be saved along with original documents during individual or bulk redactions. Redacted copies can be saved using the Redact and Save as a New document option.

The redacted copies of the documents cannot be unredacted. However, additional redactions can be done.

The Redact Document modal has options to move the copy to a different location, push to diligence, inherit permissions, notify buyers, and rename the redacted copy of the document. Deal administrators and third party users can perform all actions. Seller administrators and seller members with manage rights cannot push to diligence, change permissions or notify buyers.

The Activity Log in the Analytics tab records this action as Redacted Copy.

This update allows users to save redacted document versions for different deal phases and different buyers.

Corporate Development (CorpDev) Acquisition Experience

Analytics and reporting

DCAI CorpDev acquisition deals now include the Analytics tab for deal administrators. The Analytics tab displays Reports and Activity Log. Reports include Deal Team Activity Summary and provide overview of team actions during acquisitions. Activity Log includes user-level breakdowns of who did what and when.

This update provides deal administrators visibility into SME activity during acquisition deals.
