The following enhancements have been made for DealCentre AI:

Advisory and Corporate Development (CorpDev) Experience

Q&A enhancements

The following visual enhancements were introduced for Q&A:

  • Action history timeline - The Workflow tab is now renamed to Action History tab. The Action History tab shows events from newest to oldest and provides an accurate timeline of actions taken on a question. This update applies to deal administrators, Q&A administrators, buyers, subject matter experts, and Q&A approvers. Each user sees only the events they are authorized to view. For example, buyers do not see internal actions and subject matter experts or approvers do not see buyer information.
  • Bulk import questions - Q&A administrators can bulk upload questions right from the start. They do not need to create a first question manually anymore.
  • Delete closed questions - Q&A administrators can now delete closed questions when they are no longer required. This update keeps the Q&A process organized.
  • Manage custom categories - Deal administrators can now create and manage custom categories without becoming Q&A administrators. This update simplifies the workflow as categories can be created and updated earlier in the workflow configuration.
  • Follow-up status enhancement - Follow-up questions now appear under Follow-up in the Question Status column instead of the Action Status column. The Follow-up status is visible to buyers, Q&A administrators, sellers, and approvers.
  • Auto-delegation rules: When Q&A administrators update auto-delegation rules, questions they manually assigned to someone stay assigned to them. Only new questions follow the updated rules. This update ensures the manual assignments do not get modified when Q&A administrators change the automatic delegation rules.

Time zone in reports

Reports in the Analytics area now show the time zone that the users set up in their profile. The report header displays which time zone is being used. This works for all time reports except the Document Access Summary Report which still shows UTC time.

Asynchronous bulk downloads - Long path truncation

Asynchronous bulk downloads less than 1 GB now always truncate long folder paths. The system uses a middle-out truncation method. It shortens segments from the middle of the path and adds an ellipsis (...) to show where truncation occurred. Folder names remain visible so you can browse the downloaded folder structure without using an index file.

General usability enhancements

The following usability enhancements were introduced:

  • Resend welcome emails anytime - Deal administrators can now resend the welcome emails to anyone in the deal, even people who had earlier accessed the deal. This update ensures a way for users to get back into an active deal.
  • Access agreement reappears if text changes - If Access Agreement text is updated in deal Settings, users will see it again, even if deal administrators set the Frequency to show only Once. This update ensures that deal users see the updated terms.
  • Download filtered documents in bulk - Deal users can now bulk download the documents from the filtered views such as New Documents or Attention Needed instead of one at a time.
