This article explains the known limits in FundCentre Reporting (formerly InvestorVision) and provides troubleshooting steps to help resolve common issues.

  • My portal name is being rejected or cut off

    What it means: The portal name has a maximum limit of 256 characters, and line breaks are not supported.

    What to do: Keep the portal name under 256 characters and remove any line breaks.

  • My bulk upload .ZIP file failed

    What it means: Bulk upload .ZIP files have a 1 GB size limit.

    What to do: Keep .ZIP files at 1 GB or smaller.

  • My permission settings are hard to manage or slow to load

    What it means: Large numbers of permissions rows per user can affect performance.

    What to do: Keep permission rows to fewer than 200 per user whenever possible.

  • Not all my documents downloaded in bulk

    What it means: Bulk downloads are capped at 1,000 documents or 1 GB, whichever limit is reached first.

    What to do: Split large downloads into smaller batches that stay within these limits.

  • My video upload failed

    What it means: Videos must be 1 GB or smaller.

    What to do: Compress or resize videos to 1 GB or smaller before uploading.

  • My posting is taking a long time to process

    What it means: Running multiple postings at once, especially with larger files increases processing time

    What to do: Run one posting at a time.

  • My Investor ID, Account ID, or Fund ID caused an error

    What it means: Spaces and ampersands (&) in these IDs can cause issues.

    What to do: Avoid using spaces or ampersands in Investor IDs, Account IDs, and Fund IDs.

  • It is hard for me to identify an investor or third-party contact linked to the portal

    What it means: If an investor or third-party company shares the same name as the portal, it can be difficult to distinguish them when associating contacts.

    What to do: Give the entity a slightly different name from the portal.

  • My PDF was not accepted in a posting

    What it means: Postings only accept Adobe-generated PDFs. PDFs generated by other tools such as Foxit are not accepted.

    What to do: Generate your PDF using Adobe Acrobat before uploading it to a posting.

  • My bulk upload template failed

    What it means: Trailing spaces after email addresses, changes to template formatting, or added columns can cause the upload to fail.

    What to do: Remove trailing spaces after email addresses and do not modify the template formatting or add extra columns to the template.
