What is DealVault?
DealVault is Intralinks' cloud-based archive storage solution. DealVault offers a fully secure alternative to downloadable or physical archives. With DealVault, you never have to wonder where your archives are stored; all archives are in a single easy-to-find location. Depending upon the rights assigned to you, you can view, search, and download files and folders, upload an entire archive to an active VDR (rehydrate), and manage access to all of your archives in a central place.
Subscribing to DealVault
Subscribing to DealVault is easy: when you receive an Intralinks archive, a copy of that archive is automatically generated for you in DealValult with a 12-month free initial period for online subscribers. Upon logging in, you will be presented with the online subscription form. If you don't have purchasing authorization, you will have the option to indicate the authorized purchasing agent and submit it for their approval

Subscribing to DealVault when you receive an archive
- When you receive an email notification that an archive is ready for you, click View Archive to open DealVault.

To subscribe to DealVault, click Sign up for DealVault.
Note: If you do not want to use DealVault at this time, click I just want to download the archive. A message will appear with details on how to download the archive. You can skip the remaining steps.

The subscription form will appear. Enter your company's name, the currency that will be used for your DealVault subscription contract, and other information about the company. In the Billing Contact field, enter the address for the person Intralinks will contact for invoicing and other billing-related matters; the billing contact does not have to have an Intralinks account. Then click Next.

Select Yes or No to indicate whether you are authorized to review and sign legal documents on behalf of your organization. Click Next.
If you are authorized to review and sign legal documents, review the contract details on the screen that appears. Note the renewal term fee and the monthly fee per archive that is displayed, keeping in mind that your first year of DealVault use is at no charge to you regardless of the number of archives you add.
After you have completed the subscription form, review and accept the Terms and Conditions, then click Submit.

The contract is created, and DealVault's functionality is instantly unlocked for you. Click Go to DealVault and click on your archive's name to access the archive and begin using it.
If you are not authorized to review and sign legal documents, after you completed the subscription form, select No when prompted to indicate whether you are authorized to sign legal documents on behalf of your organization. Click Next to review contract details and provide contact information for the person who is authorized to sign this contract on behalf of your organization. Click Next, review the information on the screen, then click Submit.

The subscription approval request is sent to the the contract signer you indicated. You will have 7-day complimentary access to DealVault. You will have the ability to trigger a reminder email to the contract signer and renew your access for 7 more days., Click Go to DealVault and click on your archive's name to access the archive and begin using it. Some DealVault functionality will not be available until the contract is signed.
Reminding a contract signer to sign the DealVault subscription contract and updating contract signer information
You can send a reminder to the contract signer at any point during the complimentary period.
- Open DealVault.
- A bar at the bottom of the screen indicates the number of days left before the complimentary period ends. Click More Details.
- If you want to update the contract signer's contact information or send the request to another person who can sign it, click Edit Details and make the needed changes.
- Click Send Reminder.
- You will receive an email notification when the contract is signed.
Signing a DealVault subscription contract that was requested by another person
If an Intralinks user identified you as the person responsible for reviewing and approving the DealVault contract, you will receive an email asking you to take action on the contract. The email contains the name of the person who identified you as authorized to approve the contract. If you do not have an Intralinks account already, one will be created for you so you can approve the contract.

- If you do not have an Intralinks account, you will receive an email welcoming you to Intralinks. Click Activate Account.
- Enter your name and preferred language, and create a password for your new account. Then click Next.
- A screen appears with details about the subscription contract. Review the details and the Terms and Conditions. If you agree, mark the box to indicate that you agree to the terms and conditions, then click Approve.
- If you do not agree, click Cancel. Your organization's access to DealVault will end when the 14-day complimentary period expires.
