PCAP headers are used to rename the display names of fields in the data template for fund statements. These headers enable General Partners (GPs) to align the statement field labels with the terminology used by different asset classes and regions. Additionally, GPs can adhere to industry reporting standards.

PCAP headers affect newly published statements only. When a PCAP header is renamed, the fund statements data template is automatically updated and must be downloaded again before preparing future statements.

Steps

Viewing PCAP headers

  1. Click the down arrow next to your user name.

The six fixed categories for PCAP headers are shown - Expenses, Income, Commitment, Valuation, Opening Balance, and Carried Interest.

Editing PCAP headers

  1. Click the pencil icon in the Display As column for the header you want to rename.
