Overview of buyside group types
Every deal includes several organizations and teams that work together to complete the transaction. The platform organizes these teams into groups. Each group has a functional role in the deal process.
Core group names are the same across all deals. The core groups for your deal are automatically setup as the deal is structured as per your contract.
Core buyside group types
In a buyside deal, users are organized into deal team and target related groups to control access to diligence content and workflows.
Deal Team
The Deal Team in a buyside represents the administrators with full control over the deal.
Deal team can have functional deal team groups. For example, Finance, IT, and Human Resources.
Target
The Target represents the organization under consideration for acquisition.
The target groups are used to define which target users can access specific areas or requests.
How to manage deal team and deal team groups
