This article explains the steps required to push, replace, and manage documents in the Diligence area.
Documents in the Preparation area must be moved to the Diligence area before buyers can access them.
How to push documents to diligence
Deal team members and seller administrators with advanced privileges can move documents to diligence. Documents won't be visible to users with access until the deal is live. When you move documents to Diligence, you decide their initial access level:
- No access - users cannot view the document
- Inherit destination folder permissions - documents get the same permissions as the destination folder
Note: The inherit option only appears if at least one buyer group exists, and you are moving nested items and not root-level files or folders. In case there are no buyer groups or if a root-level file or folder is being pushed, the root-level item will default to No access permission.
- Click the DealCentre AI icon
in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list.
- Select the deal you want.
- Click the Preparation icon
on the left side of the screen. The Documents tab should be displayed.
- Select the files and folders that you want to move to diligence.
