This article explains how to view and use Link AI document insights in DealCentre AI.

Link AI document insights analyzes a document and displays the categories to which it belongs, document keywords, and document summary, and whether any sensitive information was found that you might want to redact. AI Insights can be viewed from the document preparation area and is available to deal team members and sellers. PDF, Microsoft Word (.docx, .doc) and Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx, .ppt) documents can be analyzed by Link AI Document Insights.

Note that this feature may not be available if it has been disabled by the deal administrator. For more information about enabling and disabling AI features, see Creating and managing deals.

The Link AI document insights option is available for German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Dutch, Turkish, Korean, Swedish, Greek, Polish, Hebrew, Arabic. Documents that have been uploaded in these languages display the document summary in the original language. An option is provided to view the document summary in English. This feature is based on the document's language and is not attached to the language in your profile settings. Additionally, you can copy the document summary in the original language and the English translation. The original layout and formatting of the content such as bullets and numbering, headers, tables, document references, and links to the original source are fully preserved. You can paste the content into a Microsoft Word document and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, as needed.

Note: 

  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is any sensitive information that can be used to identify a user. Examples of PII are full name, phone number, email address, government ID, date of birth, bank account number, biometric information, and IP address. Identification of PII elements is not supported for Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Dutch, Turkish, Korean, Polish, Hebrew, and Arabic.
  • Scanned PDFs are not supported for Arabic, Hebrew, and Traditional Chinese languages.

  1. Click the DealCentre AI icon DCAI product icon.png in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list.
  2. Select the deal you want.
  3. Click the Preparation icon DCAI prep icon.png on the left side of the screen. The Documents tab should be displayed.
  4. Locate the document whose insights you want to view. You can use search and filter tools to locate the document. Use the Search field to find documents by file or folder name, index number, or the added by name. Use the Filter icon DCAI filter icon.png at the top of each column to filter the documents list using the contents of that column. You can apply filters to multiple columns.
  5. Click the View Link AI Document Insights icon next to the document name. The View Document Insights panel slides out from the right.
  6. (Optional.) Choose one of the following actions:
    • To view the document summary in English, click English Translation.
    • To copy the document summary in the original language, click the Copy [Language] Summary icon. The icon label reflects the original language of the document. For example, if the document is in Italian, the icon will appear as Copy Italian Summary.
    • To copy the English translation, click the Copy English Summary icon.
    • To download the document, click the download button at the top.
    • To view Link Document Insights for the next or previous document click the left or right arrow.
    • To open the document in the viewer, click the document name.
    • To edit the category, in the Document Highlights section, click Edit, select the category and click Save. This option is only available for advisors.
    • To redact the document, click Open for Redaction.
