Summary of enhancements and new functionality
August 26, 2025
The following enhancements have been made for DealCentre:
Q&A question limits
- Advisors can now set a question limit for each buyer group. They can see the number of submitted questions via an info icon.
- Buyers cannot submit new questions once the limit is reached and must contact the advisor to update it.
This gives advisors control over incoming questions to ensure prioritization and maintain efficiency in the Q&A process.
Folder and document properties
You can now view Size, Type, ID, Location, Added By, Added On, Last Modified By, and Modified On for all folders and documents. This enables deal members to manage files, track changes, and maintain accountability.
Industry and Subsector in Deal Profile (during deal creation)
- Advisors must select an Industry from the predefined dropdown when creating a deal; the field is blank by default. Once an industry is selected, the Subsector dropdown dynamically updates to show only subsectors associated with that industry.
This allows advisors to categorize deals at creation by industry and subsector to improve tracking, analytics, and reporting.
Document Request enhancements
Two enhancements were made to Document Requests to improve visibility, flexibility, and efficiency.
- Group requests by folder location
- Advisors can now view document requests grouped by their root folder on the Document Requests grid. This allows to organize document requests by root folder location to improve navigation and workflow efficiency.
- Improved assignee notifications
- Due Date is now shown in both the assignee notification and the assignee link module.
- The expired document request links show a clear expiry message and prompt the assignee to contact a deal administrator for an extension.
Go-Live enhancement
The Go Live button is now visible and easy to find in multiple areas: the deals list slide-out, the Overview page, the Diligence page, and a pop-up is shown when advisors log in for the first time after the contract is signed.
This makes the go live process easier to access and complete.

- The original files cannot be retrieved once replaced.
This enables you to update content quickly without disrupting the flow.
Auto-scroll to recent AskLink conversation
The AskLink conversation now opens to the most recent message, so you can resume where you left off. You no longer need to scroll to retrieve insights.
Smarter AI suggestions
Clicking an AI-suggested question in the AskLink panel now keeps the other questions visible for continued exploration. When you enter a custom question, new context-relevant question suggestions appear.
Transparent page count usage
Advisors can now see how the page count usage is calculated for a deal with clear, transparent metrics. This enables them to understand how different file formats contribute to the page count and manage usage more effectively.
Advisor deal level notifications
Advisors can now view and configure email notification settings for each deal in DealCentre. This makes it possible to control how and when deal team members, buyers, and sellers receive notifications about document and folder permissions, uploads, and scheduled reports. This added flexibility streamlines the diligence process.
