You can add investors and investments either individually or in bulk. In addition, you can add investments to an investor and enable onboarding for an investment.
How to add an individual investor
- From the Entity menu, select Investors.
- Click Add Investor.
- Enter the investor details. Required fields are indicated by and asterisk.
- Click Save.
How to add investors in bulk
- From the Profile menu, select Bulk Actions.
- Click Bulk Upload.
- If you have not done so already, download the Investors template from the Document Templates list.
- Populate the template with your data, up to a maximum of 1000 rows. Do not add extra columns or change the formatting. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk.
- Upload the file either by dragging and dropping it or by clicking to upload. The upload preview screen is displayed. If there is an error, the rows will be highlighted in red. Fix the rows in the template and upload the file again.
- Click Upload.
How to edit an investor details
- From the Entity menu, select Investors.
- Click the investor name that you want to edit.
- Make any changes.
- Click Save.
How to delete an investor
Investors that have contacts, onboardings or investments associated with them cannot be deleted until those associations are removed.
- From the Entity menu, select Investors.
- Click the investor name that you want to delete.
- From the three dots menu, select Delete.
- Click Confirm.
How to add an investment to an investor
- From the Entity menu, select Investors.
- Click the investor name to which you want to add an investment.
- Click Investments.
- Click Add Investment.
- In the Account field, select the account.
- In the Fund field, select the fund.
- (Optional.) In the Commitment Amount field, enter the commitment amount.
- Click Save.
How to bulk add investments
- From the Profile menu, select Bulk Actions.
- Click Bulk Upload.
- If you have not done so already, download the Investments template from the Document Templates list.

How to enable onboarding for an investment
Important prerequisites! Before you enable onboarding for an investor, ensure that the following prerequisites have been met:
- Contacts have been set up with permissions to the investor with at least one contact in an invited status.
- The fund's subscription document mapping is complete, accurate, and does not require any changes.
- The GP Portal's rules builder is populated and the Portal is set up with document groups and document types and they do not require any updates.
To enable onboarding:
- From the Entity menu, select Investors.
- Click the name of the investor for which you want to enable onboarding.
- Click the Investments tab.
- In the row of the fund for which you want to enable onboarding, click Enable Onboarding.
How to delete an investment from an investor
- From the Entity menu, select Investors.
- Click the name of the investor for which you want to remove an investment.
- Click the Investments tab.
- From the three dots menu in front of the fund name, select Delete.
- Click Confirm.
