Applies to: Users with the Publisher role

The major role of a publisher is to upload files. They are limited to the tasks they can perform in the VDR. If you want a publisher to have additional capabilities, assign that person the Publisher+ role. For details about roles in VDRPro, see VDR user roles.

  • Documents
  • Users & Groups
  • Q&A, if it is enabled in the VDR and they belong to a collaboration group

On the Documents tab, publishers can perform the following tasks:

  • Assign permissions to folders

Users & Groups tab

On the Users & Groups tab, publishers can perform the following tasks:

  • See all users except hidden managers
  • See all groups and their details
