You can optionally customize the LP homepage, also referred to as a dashboard, to include charts and graphs, video, and text, such as information and news about your company. Whatever information you include on the LP homepage can be seen by all LP users that have access to your portal, regardless of the fund they are in.
Important! The ability to customize the LP homepage must first be enabled by your Intralinks Customer Service Representative. If you do not see the LP Homepage option in the left navigation panel, it has not been enabled for your portal. Contact Intralinks Customer Service.

Steps
Customize the LP homepage by adding tiles. Tiles can be resized, edited and deleted. The only tile that cannot be deleted or replaced is the tile that shows the number of documents.
- Click LP Homepage in the left navigation panel.
- If you have not created an LP homepage, the Template tab is displayed, otherwise the My Homepage tab is displayed. To create a new LP homepage, click the Templates tab. To see what a template looks like, click Preview. To use a template, click Choose.
- The template is displayed in the My Homepage tab where you can customize the layout.
- You can perform the following actions on tiles:
- To resize a tile, click and drag the carrot icon in the bottom right of a tile.
- To move a tile, click in the tile and drag it to its new position.
- To remove a tile, click the x in the top left of the tile.
- To edit the tile, click the pencil icon in the top right of the tile. The options displayed are dependent on the type of tile you are editing.
- To add a new tile, scroll to the bottom and click the icon corresponding to the type of tile you want to add.
You can add the following types of tiles:
- Image - Images are displayed at the size in which they are uploaded. It is recommended that you upload the image in the size that you want.
- Text - A text editor is displayed for editing text.
- Charts - You can add a bar, line or pie chart. You can display data that is within InvestorVision or you can create custom data. See below for additional instructions on adding charts.
- Video - Video files should be 1GB or less and use MP format.
- To save your changes without making them viewable by LPs, click Save. To make the LP homepage viewable by LPs, click Publish.
- To see what the page looks like from the LP view, click Users in the left navigation page and impersonate an LP.
Adding charts to the homepage
Adding a chart using data within InvestorVision
- Click LP Homepage in the left navigation panel.
- If you have not created an LP homepage, the Template tab is displayed, otherwise the My Homepage tab is displayed. To create a new LP homepage, click the Templates tab. To see what a template looks like, click Preview. To use a template, click Choose.
- The template is displayed in the My Homepage tab where you can customize the layout.
- Scroll to the bottom and click the Charts icon.
- Click Default Data.
- Select one of the following options:
- Underlying Holdings by Sector - This option only applies if you are using data and have holdings and securities set up.
- Documents - Read vs Unread - This option can be used by anybody. The user viewing the dashboard will see the number of documents they have read or not read.
- Click Select.
Adding a chart using custom data
- Click LP Homepage in the left navigation panel.
- If you have not created an LP homepage, the Template tab is displayed, otherwise the My Homepage tab is displayed. To create a new LP homepage, click the Templates tab. To see what a template looks like, click Preview. To use a template, click Choose.
- The template is displayed in the My Homepage tab where you can customize the layout.
- Scroll to the bottom and click the Charts icon.
- Create Custom Data.
- Select the type of chart you want to upload.
- Click Select. An empty tile is displayed.
- Click the pencil icon.
- Click Download to download a spreadsheet template to which you can add data. If you already have a spreadsheet, skip to the next step.
- Click Upload media to upload the spreadsheet.
