Identifying the version of Microsoft Outlook you are using | DealCentre

When you create outreach emails and download them in .EML format, you may be asked to select the version of Microsoft Outlook that you are using. Follow the steps below to determine the version number for your software.

Applies to: Advisors and sellers
 

If you are using the new Outlook (the word NEW appears on the desktop icon)  Outlook NEW icon.png

  1. In Outlook, click on the Settings option. It appears in the navigation bar at the top of the Outlook screen.
  2. Select General, then select About Outlook.
  3. The version number and other information about your copy of Outlook are displayed.

If you are using the classic version of Outlook  Outlook Classic icon.png

  1. In Outlook, click on the File menu. It appears in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Office Account, or click Help if you do not see an Office Account option.
  3. The version number appears under the About Outlook heading on the ride side of the screen.
