How to turn the Integration Adapter on and off
If you don’t wish to install the Integration Adapter as a Window service, you can turn the service on and off manually.
To turn the Integration Adapter service on, go to Start > Intralinks > Intralinks Integration Adapter > Start ILIA Service. A Start ILIA Service window will appear briefly on your desktop.
To turn the Integration Adapter service off, go to Start > Intralinks > Intralinks Integration Adapter > Stop ILIA Service. A Stop ILIA Service window will appear briefly in your task bar.
If you have forgotten what state the service is in, you can determine its state by going to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services. Locate the service named Intralinks Integration Adapter Service. If the words “Started” appears next to the service name in the Status column, the Intralinks Integration Adapter is on. If not, the Intralinks Integration Adapter is off.
