Three screens are used to configure the name and locations of the input, output, and archives files. In addition, you can configure one or more scheduled jobs.

Important! Reference information is located in the ILIA Reference Guide. This guide includes sample XML files, a data dictionary, troubleshooting information, and instructions on updating configuration settings in the WSB.Config file.

Input Options

First, enter the name of the Input XML file you will be sending. This is the file that contains the information that will be imported into Intralinks. Use the Browse button next to the Input File Directory field to select the directory in which the file will be placed.

  • The Integration Adapter will look in the specified directory for this file name.
  • If you do not specify a file name, the Integration Adapter will look in the specified directory for any XML file.
  • The Integration Adapter appends the date and time to your input file when the file is moved to the archive directory.
  • Files are processed in the order of earliest to latest, determined by the file modified date.

Second, use the Browse button next to the High Priority Folder field to create a High Priority folder and select the directory in which the folder will be placed. If a specific file needs to be processed before other input files already in the input folder, it can be placed in a High Priority folder.

Note: The ILIA Service requires that all paths used to specify file locations are on a local drive or specified using a UNC path if on a mapped drive. This includes paths in the input XML files and in the UI Configuration screens.

When using a UNC path to another computer, the source computer must allow the account running ILIA to have access to the files on that computer.

If a mapped drive is selected for the Input, Output, Archive and File Download path in the Configuration Manager, a warning message will be displayed and it will be converted to a UNC path.
An example of a UNC path: //acomputer123/folder/myfile

Output Options

Use the Browse button to select the location in which the output file will be placed. Users must have write access to this location.

If you wish to remove files from the Output folder after a specified amount of time, click the Remove files older than check-box and use the arrow keys to select the number of days that an Output file should be retained.

Choose the naming convention you want to use for the Output XML file. This file contains information about all actions performed by the Integration Adapter plus any errors that may have occurred during processing. A name should be entered for both valid and invalid Output files or the defaults will be used.

Specify valid Output XML file name

The output filename is defined using any of the following options:

  • ILIA User ID + date/time stamp (the default)
  • Input filename + batch ID + date/time stamp
  • Customizable name + date/time stamp

Specify invalid Output XML file name

When a serious error occurs and the Input file cannot be processed, there are two options for naming the output file:

  • Input filename + date/time stamp (the default)
  • Customizable name + date/time stamp

Archive Options

Review the location where the folder that contains copies of input XML files will be stored following processing and how long they will be retained there. Select another location if you like. Users must have write access to this location.

If you wish to remove files from the archive folder after a specified amount of time, click the Please remove old files from archive folder check-box and use the arrow keys to select the number of days that an archive file should be retained.
