Applies to: Deal Administrators and Sellers (when applicable)

The Document Access Report shows which documents have been accessed and by whom, which allows you to gauge interest in the deal. The Document Access Report can be viewed for an individual document, group or sub group, or individual user. The report is downloaded as a Microsoft Excel file. You can also view which groups have accessed a document from the activity log.

Create a Document Access Report for an individual document

  1. Display the deal you want to work with. If you are viewing another deal, click the DealCentre AI icon DCAI product icon.png in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list. Select the deal you want.
  2. Display the documents list that has the documents you want.

    To display internal documents: Click the Marketing icon DCAI marketing icon.png on the left side of the screen. then click the Internal Documents tab at the top of the screen.

    To display documents in the preparation area: Click the Preparation icon DCAI prep icon.png on the left side of the screen. The Documents tab should be displayed.

    To display documents in the diligence area: Click the Diligence icon DCAI diligence icon.png on the left side of the screen. The Documents tab should be displayed.

  3. In the Actions column of the document for which you want to generate a report, click the three dots menu and click Create Access Report

Create a Document Access Report for a group or sub group

  1. Display the deal you want to work with. If you are viewing another deal, click the DealCentre AI icon DCAI product icon.png in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list. Select the deal you want.
  2. Click the Users and Groups icon DC People icon.png on the left side of the screen.
  3. Click Groups.
  4. From the Actions column of the group or sub group for which you want to generate a report, click the three dots menu and select Create Access Report.

Create a Document Access Report for an individual user

  1. Display the deal you want to work with. If you are viewing another deal, click the DealCentre AI icon DCAI product icon.png in the upper left corner of the screen to display the deals list. Select the deal you want.
  2. Click the Users and Groups icon DC People icon.png on the left side of the screen.
  3. Click People.
  4. From the Actions column of the person for whom you want to generate a report, click the three dots menu and select Create Access Report.
