When documents are added to the portal from other systems, the existing metadata is matched to the mapped fields in InView. If there are no issues with the populated fields, the document is published to the document grid. If there are issues with the populated fields that are required, the document is moved to the document holding area and is not published. You can fix the metadata and publish the documents.
I want to
- Correct imported documents and publish them
- From the Manage menu, select Documents on Hold.
- Click on a document.
- Correct any incorrect fields.
- Click Save.
