Product: InView
Applies to: Managers and Portal Administrators
You can view the steps in a workflow, set the due date for one or more document types, turn a workflow on or off for a document type, and view the activity log.
When you turn a workflow on for a document type, you are asked to configure a due date for the documents of this type. The due date is calculated based on whether you choose before, after, or equal to effective date, date published, end of month, or end of quarter. If you choose before or after, you must enter how many days before or after the selected date you want the due date to be. For example, if you choose "before the effective date by 1 business day" and the effective date of the document is 10/2 then the document is due 10/1 if it is a business day.
If you change the calculation of a due date, it is only applied to documents that are added after the change. Existing documents are not impacted.
