Most InView screens are set up using a grid format that can be customized, filtered, and exported. In addition, once you have configured the way you want the grids to be displayed, you can save the configuration as a view. You can save as many views as you need and switch among them as necessary.

I want to

  • Configure the look and feel of a grid
  • Export a grid to a Microsoft Excel file
  • Filter a grid

Steps

Customizing the grid

  1. (Optional.) To select which fields, that is, columns to display, click the field chooser icon field chooser icon.png.
    • Click Manage Columns.
    • Select or deselect the fields you want to display.
    • Click and drag the column name to change the order in which the columns are displayed.
    • Click Preview to use the settings without saving them, or to use this view at a later time, click Save this View, enter a name for the view, and click Save.
  2. (Optional.) To configure the amount of space between rows, use the Compact Rows slider. When slide to the right, there is less space between the rows. When slid to the left, there is more space between the rows.
