Question
In my compliance archive's document_permission_history report, why do some column names end in #agg?
For example:
dataset/row/SEE_PERMISSION/#agg
dataset/row/USER_ID/#agg
Answer
All the reports in the Audit folder are XML files and are intended to be opened as such.
If you're seeing #agg in column names, you're likely opening the document_permission_history report in Excel rather than an XML viewer.
The columns ending in #agg aren't part of the archive itself; rather, Excel automatically adds the columns when it opens the XML file.
To properly view the report in XML, you can use your web browser. Simply right-click on the file and choose Open with > browser name.
If for any reason you do need to view the file in Excel, the application should prompt you with an Open XML window when you first open the file. Click As an XML table to view the data.
