You can install Intralinks Designer on your computer using a setup wizard. If you do not have rights to install applications on your computer, your IT department can install Intralinks Designer for you. This article includes requirements for both you and your IT department.

Requirements for managers and publishers

System requirements

The following components must be installed on the computer where Intralinks Designer will be installed:

  • Client operating systems: Microsoft Windows 7, 8.1, 10, and 11
  • Server operating systems: Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019
  • CPU: 2.6 GHz (minimum)
  • RAM: 8GB (warnings will appear if less than 1GB is available for Intralinks Designer, or if less than 2GB is available while using Intralinks Filesplit)
  • Runtime System: Microsoft Windows .NET Framework version 4.6.2 or higher
  • Disk space: 5 GB of free space (minimum)

You must have write access to the directory in which Intralinks Designer will be installed, as well as to the following directory where Intralinks Designer session data will be stored:

C:\Documents and Settings\<windows user id>\Application Data\ILClient

The following components must be installed on the computer where Intralinks Designer will be installed:

  • Client operating systems: Microsoft Windows 7, 8.1, 10, and 11
  • Server operating systems: Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019
  • CPU: 2.6 GHz (minimum)
  • RAM: 8GB (warnings will appear if less than 1GB is available for Intralinks Designer, or if less than 2GB is available while using Intralinks Filesplit)
  • Runtime System: Microsoft Windows .NET Framework version 4.6.2 or higher
  • Disk space: 5 GB of free space (minimum)

Connectivity requirements

  • Server: https://webservices.intralinks.com or https://services.intralinks.com
  • Port: 443
  • Protocol: HTTPS

Other requirements

The user must have write access to the directory in which Intralinks Designer will be installed and to the following directory where Intralinks Designer session data will be stored:

C:\Documents and Settings\<windows user id>\Application Data\ILClient

Also, the recommended screen resolution for optimal viewing should be 1024 x 768 or higher.

Additional requirements are:

  • 64-bit terminal running Citrix for remote access
