Applies to: Managers and publishers

The footer always appears at the bottom of your VDR, regardless of the screen that is displayed. Footers typically are used to provide branding and links to information elsewhere on the Internet that is relevant to your VDR users. Bear in mind that all users, regardless of their role, can see the footer, so avoid including links that are inappropriate for some groups within the VDR. In addition, the footer provides contact information for Intralinks customer support; this information cannot be removed or changed.

You can add up to five images and up to three text phrases. You can make both the images and the text phrases hyperlinks if you like.

Image

If you want to include an image to the footer, click the Browse button to select the image file. Images must be in GIF or JPEG format, and they must be 65 x 25 pixels or smaller. You can add up to five images.

You also can add a URL, making the image a clickable hyperlink. For example, if you insert your logo, you can include the URL for your corporate website; when users click the logo, your website will be displayed in a new browser window. If you click Add URL, the Image URL field will be displayed, and you can type or paste the URL in the field. Click the Test URL button to be sure that the URL you entered displays the webpage that you want.

Text

If you want to add a text phrase, type it in the Text field. You can add up to three text phrases. The combined length of all text phrases must be 85 characters or less.

You also can add a URL, making the text phrase a clickable hyperlink. When users click the phrase, the selected website will be displayed in a new browser window. If you click Add URL, the Text URL field will be displayed, and you can type or paste the URL in the field. Click the Test URL button to be sure that the URL you entered displays the webpage that you want.
