This articles describes the data limits related to customer usage of Intralinks VIA® Pro for optimum performance. These are soft limits. Surpassing these limits will not shut users out of the platform, however, surpassing these limits can cause system slowdowns or performance issues.
Limits are generally not dependent on one another. If a user or workspace does not exceed the maximum capacity, it does not mean that another limit may be exceeded.
The parameters and data limits described below apply to Intralinks VIA Pro. Other limits may apply to other Intralinks products.
Contact your Intralinks Customer Success Manager (CSM) or account representative if you have questions about your VIA Pro usage or require another Intralinks solution for your deal or project.

| File size upload/download | 15GB | Processing uploads or downloads at the upper limit of this range can take up to 2 hours. |
| Watermarking PDFs | 200MB | Hard limit for a single PDF. Watermarks will not appear on documents beyond this size. Additionally, the max number of pages per PDF to watermark is 1,500. |
| Watermarking MS Office documents | 150MB 40MB for XLS | Hard limit for a single document. Watermarks will not appear on documents beyond this size. |
| IRM protection for PDF files | 500MB | PDF files exceeding this size are not supported with IRM. |

Folders
