Issue
I'm adding content to a Workspace folder in my local Intralinks VIA folder, but I keep getting this notification error:
Permission Denied
You do not have permission to perform this action in [Workspace name].
And the content that I added displays a red-X icon, indicating a sync error.
Cause
You likely have the Viewer role on the Workspace. You can sync and access Workspace content in your local folder, but your role doesn't allow you to add content to the Workspace.
To further confirm, click the VIA icon in the Windows system tray or macOS status menu, then select Sync Errors on the pop-up menu.
The Workspace entry will likely display, You do not have permission to perform this action. Contact a Workspace owner for assistance.
Solution
Since your Workspace role doesn't allow you to add content, the error will continue to appear if you leave your content in the local Workspace folder. We recommend removing your content from the folder.
