You can customize the templates used for sending email alerts to make them personal and contextual. Templates can be customized on the portal-level or on the fund-level. If a fund-level template exists, it is used, otherwise the portal-level template is used. Portal-level templates do not affect fund-level templates, that is, if a change is made to a portal-level template, it is not pushed to the fund-level template.

Steps

  1. Select one of the following options:
    • To customize a portal-level template, click the down arrow next to your user name and select Templates.
    • To customize a fund-level template, click Funds in the left panel, click the fund name, click Templates.
  2. In the left pane, select the type of template that you want to customize.
  3. Make changes to the subject line and message body.
  4. (Optional.) In the Reply to Email section, enter an email that will receive replies regarding published documents and postings.
  5. (Optional.) To send a test email, click Send Test Email.
  6. Click Save.
  7. To revert the notification back to its default text, click Reset Default Language.
