Question
I've uploaded a certain number of documents to my exchange. Why is the Exchange Statistics Summary report showing document and page counts that are higher than I expected them to be?
Answer
In addition to files that currently exist on the Documents tab, various other factors count toward the statistics.
- Documents uploaded as Q&A attachments
Note: The system only counts documents that managers and publishers attach to questions, since these files are uploaded to the Documents tab. Documents that reviewers and previewers attach to questions are not included in the storage calculation. - Placeholders are counted as documents
- If the Save Deleted Documents setting is enabled, deleted documents are counted.
- If the Use Version Control setting is enabled, all versions of a document are counted.
