As a provisioned VIA account holder, you can create a new Workspace right in the VIA for Android app.

Steps
Create a new empty Workspace
- Tap Workspaces in the left panel.
- Tap the Add Workspace icon on the upper right.
- Enter a name for the Workspace. Workspace names cannot contain the following characters: &/\:*"<>?| If a Workspace name contains an ampersand (&), you will not be able to download the files in this Workspace or view them in the online viewer.
- To add a description, tap the Description icon and enter text in the field that appears.
- To limit the amount of time that a Workspace is available, tap the Expiration Date icon. Select the last date on which the Workspace will be available.
Note: Depending on the policies set by your organization’s Intralinks VIA administrators, an expiration date may be required. - Tap Add to create the Workspace.
Create a Workspace while uploading a file
- Open a file in a third-party app. For example, open a PDF in the Adobe Reader app.
- Tap the app's share icon.
- In the list of apps that appears, tap Intralinks VIA.
- Log in to your VIA account or enter your passcode if prompted.
- Next, tap the Add Workspace icon on the upper right.
- Enter a name for the Workspace.
- To add a description, tap the Description icon and enter text in the field that appears.
- To limit the amount of time that a Workspace is available, tap the Expiration Date icon. Select the last date on which the Workspace will be available.
Note: Depending on the policies set by your organization’s Intralinks VIA administrators, an expiration date may be required. - Tap Add to create the Workspace.
- Lastly, choose where to add the file in the new Workspace:
- To upload the file to the main Workspace level, simply tap the Add button.
- To create a new folder, tap the icon, name the folder, and tap Add.
Next, tap the Add button at the bottom to upload the file.
